Dear Sir;

Do you have any record of the marriage of one Robert Ross to a Miss Templeton, from the years 1800 to 1805 someplace? This man's wife died about 1813 or 1814. He, with 5 children migrated to Washington County, Pa. about 1815.

I would like to know his father's full name if possible. They owned a fairsized farm near Big Springs, Pa. This Robert R. had several brothers and sisters. At the fathers' death this Robert and a brother were to pay off the other heirs their shares of the farm. But land values went down and left them with quite a debt. They could not meet it and they left during nite. I married a great, great grand niece of this Robert Ross. We are interested to know something of the father of this Robert Ross as we would like to get our girls in the D.A.R.
